Browse the recipe in a very quick glance..so many ingredients were not in the pantry, but then just head to the kitchen.. decided to hentammmm sajelahh labu..
i used this kinda of mushroom. Bought the smallest packet from Giant.
So, this is the Chicken-Mushroom soup recipe, the version of mine.
Saute the garlics and some onions with butter + oil, put some chicken flesh and let it cook completely ya. Then, dump in the master ingredient, of course la the mushy meshy mushrooms. (Noticed, my mushrooms were blackening.. sebab i rendam dulu for a while, no worry its just teroksida je). Add some water from time to time.. sementara tunggu agak masak. Just a little bit je.
Then, put the cream in. its still in the block form, remember i stored it in the freezer. Taste it with salt and pepper.( okay, i omit the pepper..hehe, fakhry pun nak makan juga) i put some coriander leaf simply because i just used whatever i got in the icebox.
lets it cool.. or warm.. then blend it on!!. Surprisingly easy as ABC, but the taste was wayyyy better than neither the store bought cans nor instant powdered forms mushrooms soups. Atleast if u cook yourself u know, what is in the soups la kann..
*macam bagus. (siapa yang pernah order mushroom soup kat pizza hut untuk fakhry tuuu, hello??sorry, i'm desperate la masa tu..yelah, yelah.)(marah diri sendiri, pastu jawab sendiri balik, pastu sedapkan hati sendiri... oh, ini bukan blog orang gila ye)
They had it with boil pasta.. mamanye nak senang la tu.. campur sekali entree and main course, ish ish.
oh.. bila dah siap, i barula nak terfikir bagai,, is it 1 year tot, is ready to eat mushrooms.. cepat-cepat google and alhamdullilah boleh. hmm.. thought i share it here lah ye..
most western recipe mixed the mushroom soups with sweet potatoes or potatoes which i find is very clever of them. nantila, i try someday.. rugi tak campur tadi, sebab i got plenty of sweet potates in my pantry.huhu
For thousands of years, Eastern cultures have revered mushrooms’ health benefits.1 Mushrooms have long been celebrated as a source of powerful nutrients, but they can also help Americans meet the dietary recommendations set forth in the 2010 Dietary Guidelines and Institute of Medicine’s Dietary Reference Intakes for Calcium and Vitamin D.
Often grouped with vegetables, mushrooms provide many of the nutritional attributes of produce, as well as attributes more commonly found in meat, beans or grains. Mushrooms are low in calories, fat-free, cholesterol-free and very low in sodium, yet they provide important nutrients, including selenium, potassium, riboflavin, niacin, vitamin D and more.
