Puding Roti Epal

Salam All,


Apple Bread Pudding 

I buat minggu lepas..biasalah sebab nak menghabiskan roti.. Kali ni nak menghabiskan my green apple juga yang dah lama lepak dalam peti ais. 
Masa beli rasa nak makan..bila dah smpai rumah..terlupa. hmmm .. bad habit.
so, demi menghabiskan both abandoned items i sajelah google ing around..

Tapi memang sedap juga pakai epal ni. I tak pernah terfikir pulak sebelum ni. Asiklaa letak raisins kan.. So, lepas ni boleh pelbagaikan lah lagi. Sedap rasa masam manis dari epal tu. Plus letak cinnamon powder lebih sikit. Its make big difference.

The Ingredients


  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a 7x11 inch baking dish.
  2. In a large bowl, combine bread, raisins, and apples. In a small saucepan over medium heat, combine 1 cup brown sugar, 1 3/4 cups milk, and 1/4 cup margarine. Cook and stir until margarine is melted. Pour over bread mixture in bowl.
  3. In a small bowl, whisk together cinnamon, 1/2 teaspoon vanilla, and eggs. Pour bread mixture into prepared dish, and pour egg mixture over bread.
  4. Bake in preheated oven 40 to 50 minutes, or until center is set and apples are tender.
  5. While pudding is baking, mix together sugar, 1/4 cup brown sugar, 1/2 cup milk, and 1/2 cup margarine in a saucepan. Bring to a boil, then remove from heat, and stir in 1 teaspoon vanilla. Serve over bread pudding

ps- i pakai 4 biji epal sebab nak abiskan..and my bread was more than that.. and i tak pakai raisins sebab hilang dalam pantry .. maybe next month baru jumpa kot whenever dah nak rosak.. grrrr.

Agar-agar Gula Melaka

AGAR-AGAR GULA MELAKA

Salam..

Agar-agar made from seaweed kan.. so is it  if we eat more of these we get sufficient  intake of collagen for the skin ?? * blink *blink...

logik ke..?

okay..nak cepat... manyak mende nak buat ni..  saje buat sebab nak abis kan gula merah and kebetulan semua bahan ada.. 

and i puasa hari tu. so, macam-macam mengidamlah.. biasala tu..

AGAR-AGAR GULA MELAKA BERSANTAN.

Bahan-bahan :
  • 1 paket serbuk agar-agar 10 gm  
  • 1 liter air (4 cawan) 
  • 1 ketul gula melaka (lebih kurang 200 gm) 
  • 1/4 cwn gula pasir 
  • 250 ml santan pekat (Yatie guna 100 ml santan pekat kara dan selebihnya tambahkan air) 
  • 1 biji telur ayam - masukkan dalam santan dan kocak sikit dengan garfu 
  • Secubit garam  
  • 2 helai daun pandan - dibasuh dan disimpulkan
    Cara-cara:  
    1. Masak gula melaka yg diracik halus, gula pasir bersama 1 cwn air. Masukkan daun pandan yg di simpul. Masak hingga didih dan sentiasa di kacau. Bila dah siap tapiskan dan jadikan jumlahnya 2 cawan.  (Guna air yg dari 4 cwn tu ya)
    2. Dalam periuk bersih, masak 2 cawan air bersama dngn serbuk agar2. Masak hingga mendidih.  
    3. Masukkan air gula melaka tadi dan sentiasalah di kacau hingga didih.  
    4. Kecilkan api dan masukkan campuran santan bersama telur dan garam.   
    5. Kacau dan tunggu hingga menggelegak atas api sederhana. PENTING!! Bila menggelegak, biar seketika lebih kurang 1-2 minit atau boleh kuatkan api dapur dan biar adunan mengelegak kuat sambil dikacau-kacau. Kacau ni untuk mengelakkan adunan membuak dan melimpah dari periuk. Pandai-pandailah adjust api dapur tu ye. Nanti akan kelihatan adunan santan jadi berbintil-bintil. Tutup api.  
    6. Basahkan loyang atau apa-apa acuan kegemaran dengan air. Kemudian tuang adunan agar-agar santan dan biarkan mengeras. Boleh simpan di dalam peti ais untuk mendapatkan agar-agar yang sejuk dan umpphhh bila masuk ke tekak..heheheeee...
    Senang..je kan.. sebab tu la i sanggup buat. lagipun i dah ada gula melaka dah siap cair. 
    lagi la sap sap soi dah siap..

    makan sejuk lebih sedap ok..

    Resipi Puding Roti Marble Mudah


    Okay.. lets put the recipe here.. i memang suka puding ni. especially bulan puasa of course.
    First time buat resepi from my mum.. 
    Then.. i letak mana ntah..ta ingat.
    But still remember the basic ingredients which is consists of 4 slices of bread, susu sejat..etc

    so, just google the recipe yang nearer. 
    And i pilih resepi from Hana la... Blogger terror2 masak ni..

    RESEPI PUDING ROTI MARBLE COKLAT

    Bahan-bahan

    • 4 keping roti
    • 2 biji telur
    • 1/2 cawan susu pekat
    • 170ml susu cair
    • 10gram serbuk agar2 @ sepeket
    • 1/2 cawan gula - bleh kurangkan
    • 2 sudu besar butter@marjerin (cairkan)
    • 31/2 cawan air= hana gune cwn biasa 230ml
    • 2 sudu besar serbuk koko @ coklat emulco- hana campur coklat Hersheys




    Cara-cara
    1. Didihkan 3 cwn air,serbuk agar2 dan gula ke dalam periuk.
    2. Blend roti,telur,susu pekat, susu cair dan balance air tadi (1/2 cwn). Kemudian masukkan dalam periuk agar2 yg sudah didih tadi.
    3. Masukkan butter/marjerin dan kacau rata sampai mendidih lagi. matikan api.
    4. Bahagi kepada 2. satu adunan biarkan warna asal. dan satu adunan masukkan serbuk koko@choc emulco. (Jika menggunakan serbuk koko, bancuh dahulu dgn sesudu air panas jadikan pes agar tidak berbiji2@bergentel2 serbuk koko tersebut).
    5. Ambil sesenduk warna putih@plain dan tuang di tengah2 loyang. kemudian ambil sesenduk warna coklat, tuang di atas warna putih@plain tadi. biarkan puding gerak sendri ke tepi. tak payah ratakan atau kacau. ulang smula kaler putih@plain dan buat hingga habis.. ketika melapis@me'marble'kan hendaklah dengan cepat sbb puding@agar2 nih mudah sejuk@membeku.
    6. Dah siap bolehlah di simpan di dalam peti sejuk sekurang2nya sejam.
    7. Nota : Kemanisan puding sila ejas ikut selera masing2. dan bagi yang kurang gemar berlemak, kurangkan sukatan susu pekat.




    ps- i divided to three portions to get 3 differents colors.. just to please my princess Kiss. hahaha. Tapi i lebihkan yang putih sebab dulu pernah buat divided with equal portion.. then the choc tu become very dominant lah..hence the pudding semua turned into brown.. i keras tangan.

    pastu kena buat cepat-cepat la pulak kalau tak nanti mengeras.. agar-agar kan cepat keras even in the room temp. Dahla tak jadi marble nye.. because i had to dump all in half way tu.. terror kan! well.. i terpaksa pause half way entertain fakhry.. nak sibuk sekali..

    but i rasa the final result that pudding become artistic juga, what!! Natural marble gitu... lalalala.

    janji boleh makan..

    Puding roti Coklat Mudah Versi 2


    Salam .

    Hmmm... Macam tajuk kat atas this one is my 2nd version of puding roti coklat.
     Unlike my First Version,
     yang ni i pakai roti putih biasa je, tapi i add with cocoa powder and choclate chips.
    So this pudding, is much richer in chocolaty taste and lebih umpph lah i guess sebab kalori lebih..
    yang dulu ada raisins.. so healthier sikit..
    but either ways, both recipe .. sanngatlah mudah.. with simple ingredients dalam rumah je.



    bahan pun main agak-agak je.
     i just used the loft pan, so it will needs only 5-6 pieces of bread only.
    Potong-potong.. put in the tin together with lots of choc chips.Put aside. 

    And,
    Lets starts to prepare the custard.
    Ingredients : (agak-agak je ni) 2 eggs, 2 cups of full cream milk, 3 tablespoons butter, 2 tablespoons sugar, 2 tablespoons brown sugar and 1 tablespoon custard flour.(optional)
    Melt the butter, lets it cool a bit before cracking down the eggs. (or else jadi scramble eggs nanti), then put all the sugars,cocoa powders and custard flour tu.
    i punya ade berketul sikit.. so i put on stove back.. just for the sauce to incorporate well.
    Pastu, down the sauce into the cut breads.

    Sebab, sauce dah agak suam, so i tak payah tunggu lama untuk kembangkan roti tu je. Even the choc chips pun dah melt sikit. 
    So, i terus je bake in the oven for about 30mins at 190C.



    This is for my Iftar.. 

    Tapi yang dah potong tu, my kids dah makan ..panas-panas.
    Sebab terasa sangat chocolate nya, maka takde masalah la nak makan..
    Cer, menu sihat.... hmmmm 
    (terpaksa ada adegan sesi kejar mengejar, baru abis)

    Try..eh sedappppp! Prep time less than an hour.. tu pun baking je yang lama pun.

    sebab... diaorang makan banyak.. seb baik, ada balance untuk i berbuka..

    Pas makan.. they were very "high" sebab sugar rush.. tergolek-golek sana sini.. terlompat-lompat.
    then, suruh berus gigi pas makan.. buat tak tahu...
    and, i terpaksa bertukar jadi ala-ala lion malam tu..
    then, dua-dua berus gigi sambil nanges-nanges..sayu sangat konon.
    grrrr...!!

    Puding Roti Coklat Mudah ....



    Salam...
    Sukarnya nak update blog... ntah apa lah yang bz sangat neh.. but, i had promised myself not to "hangat-hangat tahi ayam" in anything i do.. so, yeah... i will find my way updating i guess.. 

    Just wanna share my  another creation, Chocolate Bread Pudding, very simple, easy peasy... felt like cheating pun ade.. and claimed it as a recipe?? bolehlaaaa labuu.

    i am a sweet toother .. i can't live my life without dessert or any sweet treats.. Can i  blame the low blood pressure that running down into the gens. Guess i got it from my father. I can easily get tired and shaky if taking late meal and easily refreshed after as simple as a glass of syrup or as posh as a piece of red velvet cake with lots of cream cheese toppings. lalalala...

    So making an everyday dessert is like a ... err ... like masak nasi to me.. ohoho. i need those sugarss.. please.!! Maybe as simple as dadih or just digging up a few scoops of ice creams from the tub.. jadiklarr

    So and so.. i'm sharing you my other everyday dessert... and its so easy, for sure!


    As usual, the ingredients.. 
    just buy that Coklat Kismis Gardenia bread.
    Full cream milk or susu sejat (evaporate milk) either one or maybe combination of both milk, also can maa.
    For a loaf of that bread i used atleast 450ml of milk.
    2 eggs.. 2 tablespoons of melting butter or more ( depends on your diet)..
    2-3 tablespoons of granulated sugar. up to you. The bread pon dah manis kan.



    Cut the bread into pieces. I cut into small pieces so it can easily absorb more of the custard.
                                                                       Theory lah sangat.
    For the custard just dump other ingredients togather and whisk it up. 
    Pour the custard into the tin with those bread pieces in it.
    oh.. don't forget to line the tin with butter ke apa ke .. so its not stick after cook.

    Let the mixture soaked for atleast 30-45 mins before u bake them.
    This procedure is compulsory, to get a moist bread pudding.

    Oh yes..u can either baked them in the oven for 30-40mins with 180C or steam it. Actually i prefer "baking" style.
    Your pudding should be ready if the toothpicks coming out clean when you poke it.

    Dah siap.

    No need chocolate powder nor chocolate bar or even raisins because we had skip those lists by buying that "chocolate bread" ..  lalala

    Make it some custard sauce to go with the puddings or its as good as it is.
    Emmm.

    Dadih for Dummies ;)

    Oh.. Its My New Discovery..
     Making dadih is as simple as ABC !!!

    If i knew it earlier, i'd never spending so much on ready made dadih from the Pasar Ramdhan  during every Ramadhan months also during occasionally visit to pasar malam.

    i wish i got a courage to try it before, as all of us Kiss, Hubby and me likes it so much.
    hmmm.. skarang Fakhry pun..
    (the reasoan i wanna make myself, is to reduce the sugar contains for the kids)

    Just bought a packet of instant Dadih with any kind flavour of your wish and it will ready in a blink!!
    (eh.. you have to wait for an hour atleast untill it sets, well of course :)
    unfortunately, thats will be atleast h3600 of blinks, peeps)

    i dedicated this entry, to whoever had spent so much on dadih, but quite unconfident to make it, couldn't visualised it..ade prasangka buruk about the procedures.. just like me..

    Here you are, Dadih for Dummies!!

     i choose this brand..  my dadih turned out good plus Halal too.
    i'd try another brand the next day.. tak berapa ummphh lahh
    choose the flavour,  mine was strawberry
    and you need a can of evaporated milk, as well..


    The instructions were quite straightforward.


    Bring to simmer 3litre of plain water,  a can of milk and 100gm of sugar.
    ( i reduced to 1-2tblspoons of sugar only)


    Rip off the package, you will find these 2 packets.
    Once your mixtures were boilied, put off the fire.
    Wait a few minutes before you add in the big packet followed by the small one.
    The smaller packet actually is the sugar.
    i reduced it to half packet too.
    Constant stir until fully dissolved.


    yeay.. Siap!!
    quite a lot right.
    before this one tub cost me rm1.50.
    atleast i need to buy 3-4 tubs for everybody.
    1 instant packet cost me only rm5.do the calculation..

    taste wise.. yummy.
    wayy better from bought ready made one.
    maybe susu lebih ke buat sendiri.. ntahhla.
    tapi jauhhh lagi sedaplah.

    i dah buat 2nd batch dah..mango flavour pulak.

    as our dessert, cooling.. and soothing the throat as well.
