Nasi Jagung Kiss

okayy... today everything about jagung..

i'm the kind yang suka sangat masak simple2 and kalau boleh nak siap cepat2 and get out from the kitchen..hishh..

suka masak.. tapi tak suka lama2 in the kitchen.. (errkk..?)macam ni pun adeke.. believed me.. macam tulah saya.. suka je nak masak itu ini..but easily get bored kalau the dish took me so much time..sabar jelahh..

and..  masak nasik lauk is one of my major weaknesses. i find it so 'leceh' la... sebab, dah masak nasik..kena masak sayur lagi, lauk goreng kena buat cicah pulak..some more kena ade lauk kuah pulak..nanti cekik,  so dah 2-3 dishes need to be prepared..  sape nak jawab..

so it took so much hassles in order to serve one complete meal of nasi lauk.. sape setuju, join my club..hehe..

yelah.. surrender, mengakulah awak tu makan je tau..

that's why kat rumah, i selalu masak.. nasi ayamlah, nasi daging lah, nasi lemak, nasi paprik, nasi goreng, nasi beriani ke, mee, bihun, pasta..

bukan sebab terror masak.. jauhh lagi.. is just to minimize my time consumption in the kitchen.huh.

so that, i tak perlu masak berjenis-jenis lauk to complement the food pyramid..
dahh.. semua dah campur skali kan...ishh..ishh

so..here my very easy version of nasi jagung..

suitable for kids macam kiss and fakhry pun dah boleh suap sikit2 dah..
hmm..kitaorang yang adults pun makan sekali harung juge..

First, grated some carrots and keledek. Keledek selalu ade in the pantry, sebab selalu guna untuk bubur fakhry kan.. so lets the sister enjoy the benefit from keledek too..


Grated keledek and jagung ni.. so that, i can include fibre sekali harung in the meal. Sometimes, pakat grated carrots, depend on what my pantry offered me on the day.

I chose to grate, sebab its can be easily cook kann.. and i tak payah pening nak tambah sukatan air untuk nasi tu masak..
amatur kan.. so easily get confused, even just cooking the rice..fuh

Letak air and secawan susu..kurangkan lah air tu.. susu nak bagi lemak sikit.. saje.ikut rasa hati ini.
put some salt..then terus letak dalam rice cooker..
let it cook!

at the meant time, in a frying pan saute some bawang,halia, garlics with butter+oil.. terpulang kalau nak letak.. any rempah sikit..kayu manis ke ..apeke..

i tak.. just tumis skali serai and pandan je. ape yang adelahh..

then, masukkan the saute ingredients dalam rice cooker yang sedang masak nasi tu...

lets it cook..then......
......
.......

Siap.. hihi..
tengah panas2 tu..tabur sikit daun bawang and bawang goreng..
then tutup.. so that..the aroma is magneticing (is there such word??)
cer try... tak caya..
