Her Arts & Crafty Day!

Last Weekend punye cerita.

Well, ada arts & crafts exhibition in her school last Saturday. 

So, off we went to support. Kiss pun all excited.

Bibik pun ikut sekali.. sebab dia pun nak tengok.. no doubt she played quite important roles in the kids life, so kalau ada apa-apa about the kids, i feel she deserved a seat. 

and she was looking forward too.. :)

Fakhry tu tahan sabar je... dia mintak turun actually, tapi tahankan je.

ade satu masa terlepas turun, abis terbalik semua all the displayed items.

Santa Claus !! Comel je kan...

hmm.. i wonder why?

if it is an arts and craft projects, why all the rockets's windows should be 3pcs each one, why the alligator's spots glued at the same place in the same order, why the mini pc got the same colour, why every ocean got the same creatures with same size in it??

shouldn't arts and crafts is one of the ways for the kids to explore their own creativity and imaginations?

why we should put certain rules, boundaries and limitations on their creativity. After all, its their own artsy projects,kan? 

Is it that important for the teachers, to please the parents by showing some beautiful, neat and presentable looking projects?

Hence, their artsy works were turning like answering an objectives papers with one certain schematic answer to score?

Come on , making artsy things will be no fun at all if we stricted the 4-6 years old kids with guidelines to follow..

As a parents myself, i don't mind at all attending exhibition's with messy looking thing, jellyfishes wearing crown, rockets with 10 windows, alligators wearing shoes.. or even pink pineapples with blue leaves

Its ok..ITS OK..really!!

Lets kid be kid.

Lets them express their unique ness tu...(adeke such word-bantaii)

but i guess, i je yang dok terpikir macam tu.. i tengok orang lain ok je. 

huhuhu

i pon tak tau nak feeling proud or pity to her?? 

*sigh

with one of her bestie.. she influenced her to wear tudung actually.

Now once a week Kiss will request to wear tudung to school, too.

kecik-kecik dah pandai berdakwah..  gud job mia.

Her class teacher.Yang banyak bersusah payah untuk Kiss.

And she is Kiss's favourite teacher.. Dia la yang dukung Kiss from the car, di hari Kiss tanak keluar dari kereta sbb tanak pi school.. and Kiss akan sejuk hati, sebab teacher want her to be at school, especially bila start school after long holidays..

She is 6 years old. She took care of Kiss a lot.

Especially last year, when Kiss is still a freshie. Dia la yang bawak kis ke toilet, ajak makan segala.

of course teacher yang cerita.

Tq, shareena... susah2 je.Ni mesti jadi pengawas sekolah nanti. 

tengok kat belakang tu.. yang arts mural on the wall tu..

pakai lipstick mama, ok!! 

abis sabatang.. mula dia pakai kat mulut.. pastu lap kat dinding sebab tangan dah berlemuih..

pastu timbul idea kreatif.. conteng terus..

Nak explore creativity sangatt lah konon kann... cik mama oii.

owh.... padan muka i ke??  Tak baik tau.. bulan puasa ni..

Judging from the biscuit appearance,

i want to put all the blame or credit on him..

 oh yeah..blaming the 16 moths tot

 he can't even talk to defend himself.....just yet.

Well, obviously i got a new helper in the kitchen.

Although he was totally new with the industry and inexperience helper..

he got the determination, full of concentrations, passion and he's a fast learner too.

I must say that's the reasoan i hired him at the first place..

But

Judging from his first day performance..

i must say,

he was...

Lack of teamwork, unable to listen to any of the instructions given, uncontrollable, too much wastages from him, yelled at the boss, unable to maintain cleanliness on work..bla bla..

and on top of that..

oh man..

he was caught "Red Handed"!!

sambil kerja sambil makan lor..

(lagi banyak masuk mulut kot)

so sorry baby,

your service no longer needed atleast for the next 6 mths kot.

or

when mama totally forgot the major cleaning she had to do..

to you ..and the kitchen as well.

(which one comes first)

Before the disaster.. i think the biscuit were much more "eadible" looking before we frost them..

Oh.. by the way..  i just used the pre-mix cookies fluor, get it from BAGUS's store,

Very easy.. just add with butter and eggs.. but i add a cup of rolled oats.

i had used the mix several times.. using the chocolate mix and plain one...

Really reduce the time spending in the kitchen,mummies....hahah

but

Do not expect the world class biscuit larrr

Despite from that,

Kids and me had a good time..

we did laughed and yelled to each other a lots..

and

there's a few panics moments..

when fakhry nearly fell down from the chair..

(he was too much focus on job, avoiding the safety aspect)

Kiss spilled out a bottle of sprinklers on the floor..

ohohoho..

i got mad.. she cried hysterically.. fakhry eagerly grabbing as much as he can those sprinklers spreading and into his mouth..

Strawberry Yogurt Popsicles and a Match

Well owh well..

so, the popsicles fever still didn't end yet..

Just bare with the entry larrr

coz this ice pop taste scrumptiously yummy yet nutritious.

with strawberry bits in..!

I guess, frozen yogurt will never let you down..emmmm

It was the mixture of full cream milk, strawberry yogurts and 2 tablespoons of honey.

Just measure your container volume and prepare the mixture accordingly.

Mine were 100ml each which means i need atleast 400ml of mixture.

Checked the yogurt weight and add the remaining ingredients to the right amount...

Mix it, Pose for a picture, Freeze it and Wait

Makan kacanglahhhh..

When i grown up.. i will play better than them..

Citer lain.. in the evening we took them for a walk and there's a soccer match to watch..

ala..kat padang nearby.. to relese their stress!!

apa yang stress sangat tak taulahh..

tak abis-abis la cabut rumput..

the game nearly started..

bila dah start.. he gave his full concentrations tau..

siap.. angkat-angkat tangan.. jerit-jerit..angkat kaki sepak-sepak angin..

Kiss found her spot to hangin' around..

Chocolate Popsicles for Dummies :)

Sorry my dear Smarties ...

The title sounded a little bit harsh larr 

No offends.. 

 just the steps were so simple
 and, being amature like me..  i still googled the recipe..lorr.

So,Whoose the dummy here??

Why popsicles?

Eversince we downloaded a simulation game, Popsicles Making Apps on the Ipad,

Kiss insisted to make those ices on her own.

She also watched youtubes like hundreds times for the recipe..

Ciann..layannn kan.

i pun teringin..tettt

Okay..lets go for the very first step.

Assembling the ingredients.

 Any chocolates bar or cooking choclates, 320ml full cream milk, 2 tablespoons of condensed milk

and

a Popsicles Container!!

we got it from Daiso..RM5 larr

Heat the milk and condensed milk, take it away from stove and threw the chocs pieces in.

No need to simmer the milk just warm enough to melt the chocs only.

Kiss took part from here,

whisked it untill fully incorporated.

Each Popsicles only needs 100ml of any your favourites mixtures..!

we did put some choc chips into the bottom of each container before pouring the liquids in.

Let it rest in the freezer overnite or atleast 4-6 hours.

Then, enjoy it on the hot sunny day..!

This one was 'sirap bandung' version.

But, i still used full cream milk sebab nak bagi bebudak kann..

Next, we are going to make Nutella popsicles.. lalala

Its nothing near to a super yummy desserts,

but the process-making and delegating tasks to her really made her day.. making her feels important.

plus..

 this is another way to bond with your kids..

Barbie Tea Party and Her DreamHouse DIY

Oh.. hi..

We're having a tea party..

But of course you are not invited..

This is just for young,curvy with plastic face ladies...unfortunately!

The little host is very busy with the table arrangement.

and even dressing up the guest too.. hmm

All done!!

Her dolls are not single. Apparently, they got kids too.

Noticed the recycle box doll house?? ngeh ngeh..

Lets take a closer look.

She demanded a doll house and even if we promised to ger her one she cannot compromised on waiting.

So, this is the fastest resolution.

Luckily, we just get back from grocceries shopping and bought our routine breakfast, Kellogs Cornflakes and made used the Box.

The size was doubled from the normal Kellog's box  plus it comes with a 'window' too.

we are very lucky parent,huh.

I just cut some lines to make the door and push up the box lid for the roof.

and

You get a satisfied smiling little girl construction's approval.

oh..btw, the neighbour's house using my old induction cooker's box.

she even decorated the house.

So far so good... its been a week already.. lalalalala..

M&M Cookies and A Cool Mum

I think i'm a cool mum...

why??

because..... i'm baking

M & M COOKIESS for them.... ngeh ngeh...ngeh..

considering my mum will never ever bake those cookies for me, once upon a time ago .. kan..:(

so, here's the simple steps in the journey of being a cool mum like me..*cough

yeah..yeah.. i'm using instant biscuit pre-mix.. 

 i bought it from BAGUS baking supplies store recently

very simple..easy peasy..

 i just used half of the packet though, hence there was only an egg there.

Simply, add the butter and an egg. whisk it untill fully incorparated.

i chose to use electrical whisk to speed up the process.

and,

 adding  a cup of rolled oats to make it healthier a bit.

boleh ke macam tu?

the packet instructions suggest to put some nuts or choclate chips,which  i didn't.

plus i want to save my almonds and chips for other baking projects.

  hehe

my little helper.

she made sure the "M"s print will always be on top.

whenever, i wrongly put it she will nagging at me...

it is her idea to make the biscuit.

she watched a lot of cooking youtubes lately.

so, banyakla cooking ideas kan..

and of course she will be relying on me to realise her intentions .. kan

Instant Cookies Mix ! Biskut Magic

la.. ? Raya dah lepas..  tiba-tiba buat biskut raya ni kan.. 2 jenis pulak tu.

Hmm.. sebab mamanya rajin?? Maybe...
 oh no.. definitely no!

Yup..end of this month.

My Instant Cookies Flour nak expired la.. tu la sebabnye.

bila beli?? hmm.. i guess, sometimes before last Ramadhan kot..

kononnya nak buat untuk raya la tu.. last2 ke laut.

hmm.. atleast my good intention went as far as buying instant cookies mix.

hehe..

fortunately

last raya i just made 1 type of cookie, choc chip cookies. nanti buat i share resepi.

jadilah..

follow the instructions carefully..

oh, btw 100gm of eggs are equal with 2 large eggs ye.

then i got...

500gm of cookies mix..?

at first.. i got no idea nak buat ape.

i think, masa beli tu i did took the booklet recipe on how to use the mix.

of course la, by this time that booklet dah hilang kan..

organised sangat.

so.. terpaksala guna my own creativity.

half of the batter.. i just buat bulat2 and baked it in paper cups.

dah masak tunggu sejuk, i pour some melted chocs on it.

( cooking chocs from raya haritu.. banyakk lagi dek kerana berangan nak buat itu ini tapi tak kesampaian..)

and anoter half of it, i try buat choc chip cookies.

just mixed with a cup of choc chips and another cup of fakhry's organic rolled oats.

mama minta sikit oats ye,baby.

of course my little chef in the making was busy too.

hmm.. she helped me by sprinkled the choc rices onto the cookies.

the ratio was like..

half of the rice masuk mulut dia.. quater scattered all over the table and floor and the last quater safely landed on the main subjects..

well.. the job delivered, what.!?

comot abiss setiap kali selesai episod.

kena sabun and shampoo segala..

hm taste wise? well, sedapla juga consider on how easy to prepare it.

and the cookies mix were quite versatile too.

hey.. i made two cookies in one batter..kan!

as..

killing two birds with one stone. heh

but i prefer my choc chips cookies using the non-instant recipe instead..

so here goes, my biskut magic to recipe magic too...

bolehla beli instant lagi..kalau nak buat projek dengan kids..
